Art: Silk Furred Bernese Mountain Dog by Artist Camille Meeker Turner

This week I'm offering for auction a Bernese Mountain Dog. I first carefully sculpted him in polymer clay, painted the sculpture and tiny details with acrylics then applied silk and other natural fibers one layer at a time until finished. I made his eyes in a separate process then cured them into the sculpture then applied gloss giving him a realistic expression. You can gently brush the silk fiber giving it a wavy appearance if preferred. The tail may also be gently posed. This will arrive with a signed, dated and numbered certificate of authenticity that may be verified through the ebsq site. This would make a great addition to your original dollhouse or Bernese Mountain Dog collection!
