"Sands of Atlantis" mixed media painting Every mermaid knows that the best pearls are made from the sands around Atlantis... This piece is an original 18" x 24" x 1" mixed media painting. I have used scraps of canvas, silk, vintage papers, threads, acrylic paints, and matte medium to create a subtle landscape around the mermaid (painted in acrylics).
