The 11 th in my series of Blythe inspired Painting. This Gothic vampire Blythe is dressed in her black leather corset, and blood red gown. Her figure is accentuated by the Victorian “Bussel” The Victorians like to think they were very prim and proper yet with their Bussels and corsets the managed to make the female figure all boobs and bum.
Carrying her lantern and under the watchful eye of the skull moon and tiny spider this blythe wanders the castle Blythe-Ula in search of her next victim. Mind you it’s a little hard to be too frightened by such a tiny funky creature
This is an ORIGINAL ACRYLIC PAINTING, not a print. This painting of blythe is a reflection of all the dolls of the 70’s that I like. Blythe, Liddle Kiddle, Hug a Bug, Mini Martians, Emerald the Enchanting Witch, or inspired by the modern Bleeding edge dolls, Pullip dolls by Takara, or the Living dead doll series…if it’s a bit off the wall and a bit mod I covet it. Rarely can I afford them so I paint my versions of them
