"A Mermaid Emerges" - my latest mermaid painting - and she is beautiful! Inspired by the swamps and lily ponds all around by my house. Of course here you're more likely to find an alligator than a mermaid, but hey - you never know! This beauty emerges amidst the murk of a lilypad-strewn bayou, her dark eyes slightly haunted. She really stares you right in the eye! The size & shape of this painting is very cool - a whopping 24" tall, and 8" wide. Original acrylic painting on masonite.
