Named after the small fish, this mermaid is unassuming in color and size. What she lacks in vibrance and stature she makes up for in heart and mind. This is an original collaged ACEO (Art Cards, Editions, and Originals). I have hand drawn the mermiad with Prismacolor pencils on Strathmore Bristol. Her hair is different silk threads, her tail is a scrap of origami paper and a layered transparency. The background consists of layers of different papers, painted in acrylics. This one of a kind piece is signed and dated on the back.
