A classic "Odalisque" pose with a fairy twist! She is lounging in the green grass as a rainstorm fast approaches.... I have always found the masterpieces featuring the classic odalisque to be enchanting - from Titian and Manet's "Olympia" paintings to the fleshy beauties of Boucher, Ingres and Matisse - I've long been inspired to do my own take on a classic subject. A 20"x16" acrylic painting on canvas.
