Began as a simple photo shoot of a wild flock of perhaps 500 Canada geese feeding in local playground. When a small child of about 3 approached them with bread hoping to feed them, of course they began to launch giving me abundant opportunities to catch them in flight as well. The base photo here was cropped to select various wing positions and then painted on an iPad using then very new painting software as a learning exercise. After comments from family and friends, decided to include in shows and displays. Although this particular piece is sold, additional reproductions from small to large standard sizes, as well as custom commission reproductions.
