I have been restoring a couple of old folding chair. I got them all sanded off and I loved the weather aged layers of paint and patina So many parties, so many people, so many lives laid bare.. I am almost tempted to seal it and leave it that way, but then I thought that someone after me will maybe again sand it down and my layer will become part of the ever growing picture.
