Sometimes, for unknown reasons, I get an incredible urge to create something tiny. It is a lot of work and a great strain on my poor eyeballs, but I have so much fun! This is a miniature (1.5" x 1.5") fantasy collage done on archival mat board. The sleepy fairy was drawn and colored by my hands, and other media such as feathers and paper were used to create her little nest under the moon. She is varnished for protection and signed and dated on the back. This is an original piece of artwork, not a shrunken print.
