- Keyhole Dragon
A dragon flies off into the cloudy night sky, a golden key swinging precariously from his tail. This is an original 5" x 7" collage done on Strathmore Bristol. I have hand drawn the dragon on red rice paper, and added golden rice paper for his underbelly; a ton of teeny tiny hand cut scales in sparkling red and gold adorn his serpent body, accentuated by raised golden paint in spots. The mat board is specially cut in the shape of a keyhole and covered with a brown cotton paper. This piece is framed, signed on the front under the keyhole in gold pen, and again on the back, with the title and the date.
