“Red Water Lily at Sunrise” was inspired by the magic of watching the water lilies in my backyard water garden wake up each morning and open their petals as the sunrises. The colors in this painting are vibrant red petals surrounded by green lily pads on a background of dark ultramarine blue. This painting is one in a series of three 8x10 original acrylic paintings of single water lilies and is part of my Water Garden Series.
