"Tuscan Hill" is part of my "Italy On My Mind" series. I spent several summer vacations traveling all over the Tuscany countryside and the coast. The hills are amazing there: they look like green ocean waves. And then, all of a sudden....a solitary tree on top of one of the hill! This kind of scene is so common in Tuscany. This piece is filled with intense hues of greens and rich textures.
