Many years ago I painted a young Inuit mother, with her child, using a strong chiarascuro technique. Now, working with collage, I used her image again by photographing my original painting and changing it to a simple black and white image. It is cropped to show only her face, layers and combined with mixed media collage, ethnic stamps, crows, ravens, and a fat little dog/coyote creature. Colors are warm and strong...I was happy with the rebirth of this image from so long ago.
