Fight or Flight. See Van Gogh in the airplane on the bottom right? This collage is a nod to the emotions artists feel trying to gain acceptance. The comments I most often get is weird, eccentric, bizzare. How to go on painting your heart out, doing what comes naturally and volley all the not so nice feedback? Seems simple to say "don't care" when you really do care (at least a little) what people think. I MUST create, bottom line.
