This will be my last offering for 2018, I'm looking forward to what's ahead and hopefully 2019 will be a bit less stress and fewer major changes for me. I created this one in the image of my own golden retriever, Arlo, who also served as my inspiration for this one. This is one of his frequent off-duty poses. I first carefully sculpted him in polymer clay, the ball is a permanent fixture in his mouth so he's ready for perpetual play. I painted his overall color and details with acrylics then applied the silk fiber layer by layer and trimming until achieving his finished coat. I made his eyes in a separate detailed process then cured them into the sculpture. I'll send an original digitally signed certificate of authenticity that may be verified through the ebsq site. This would make a great addition to your original 1/12th scale or golden retriever collection!
