This work is a visual narrative concerning my personal myth of the original formation of the continents of Earth by fire and water.
Upon looking at a globe, I became aware that if I could move the now separated continents, as if they were puzzle pieces, they would interlock, just like puzzle pieces, and almost perfectly, they would create one large land mass.
My explanation for the imperfections in their interlocking, is that the small "chips" of empty space that are left between the continents, preventing a perfect interlocking, were carved away by water, one of earth's most productive sculptors. The largest of red marks represents volcanic actions the brings forth new land making materials from the earth's core.
