I've been working on this one for a couple of weeks and finally finished him.  I've discovered that the bamboo fiber takes me quite a bit more time to work with but I do love the final outcome, it has a nice sheen to it and even though it is far stiffer than silk to work with, it appears softer.  Please note that this one isn't to scale, he just came out a bit bigger and I ran with it!  I first carefully sculpted him in polymer clay, painted the details with acrylic and applied the fiber paying close attention to the trimming. I spend a great deal of time sculpting the 'fur'.  I made his eyes in a separate process and cured them into the sculpture giving him a lifelike appearance.   I've begun sending the certificates of authenticity in digital format, I've found a way to sign each one just as I would if it were printed, so you're still getting an authentic signiture which can be validated on the ebsq site.  This little fox would make a great addition to your wildlife collection!
