My mother decided I was displaying artistic tendencies when I was three years old. I independently attired myself, mixing floral top s with striped pants. Both were popular at the time, but not in polite mixed company. Mom observed that I was destined to take after my very talented (but modest) father.
I spent most of high school with my nose buried in myriad art projects, in one art class after another. I was always straining my poor overworked brain for ideas yet nothing seemed to flow; my talents lay buried for a more distant day. I persued many other paths, none of which were prosperous. I first found my hidden talent in the medium of wax and the lost wax process. Upon discovering my natural eye for building things from the ground up, I've never looked back.
In more recent years, I abandoned the wax for polymer clay. I love the texture and the detail I can achieve with it. I live on small acreage in the Mid-West, my barnyard reflecting my many passions and also serving as much of my inspiration. I have developed a good following as a seller on ebay and welcome you to visit me there!
