How much are dues? EBSQ Dues are $132 for a bi-annual subscription, $78 for an annual subscription, or $7.50 per month for monthly subscriptions. Lifetime memberships are available for $650. Do I have to sell on eBay to participate in EBSQ? No. While our roots are in selling on eBay, EBSQ has grown beyond its original purpose. Many members are active without ever selling their work online. How does EBSQ promote its artist's work? EBSQ has done both traditional print and online advertising, including ads with Google and Art News. We're also working hard to build relationships with people in both the tech and art industry. Recent press has included a nice review in Smart Money Magazine (October 2006). We're also pretty keen on blogging. But we feel the best way to promote EBSQ is to simply talk about it with people and share our passion for who we are and what we bring to the artist's table. Are there rules or ethical standards for members? You understand and accept that your EBSQ membership can be terminated at any time for ANY violation, including committing fraud, engaging in shill bidding, selling non-art items under EBSQ's auspices, or failing to deliver artwork properly to buyers. A full community guideline policy will be available in Spring 2007. I just joined and cannot access my Art Case. What might be the problem? Since membership upgrades (from free "Patron" to paid "Member" are a manual process on our end, paid-member access is not instantaneous. If you paid via PayPal, you can use the link found hereor by contacting info@ebsqart.com directly and we'll take care of your membership cancellation for you. If you use the first option, you'll receive an email from PayPal confirming your subscription cancellation, as well as an email from us. We'd appreciate a reply confirming your intent to cancel when you get our note since there are other reasons why a subscription could be cancelled, including credit card expiration or other issues on PayPal's end. If you paid by check or money order, simply drop us a line and you won't be invoiced for your next annual or bi-annual dues payment. Is canceling my subscription the same as canceling my EBSQ membership? No. Your membership would continue through the duration of your subscription unless your request that it end sooner by contacting info@ebsqart.com. Cancelling your subscription simply ensures that you won't be billed again ny our third-party billing agent, PayPal. If you'd like to remain a member after cancellation of your subscription, you must make other payment arrangements before your paid time expires. I was notified by PayPal that my subscription was canceled by 'buyer' - but I did not cancel my subscription. Why? This usually indicates that there was some change made to your PayPal account. For instance, if the expiration date on your credit card changes, PayPal will cancel all of your subscriptions. If this happens to your, simply contact info@ebsqart.com for assistance. Can me and others join as one member? Yes and no. Each individual would have to be a member - but you would then be able to create a collaborative group membership. Can I be terminated from the group? If so, what are the reasons for termination? NotAnswered I am an artist that uses an agent for some aspects of my career. Can I still join EBSQ as a Self-Representing Artist? Yes - as long as you are representing yourself at EBSQ. Are there additional fees when joining EBSQ? No. The only additional fee might be to enter EBSQ Plus Juried shows. This money is divided between the winners of the show.
