My creativity began as a child, when I toyed with drawing, painting, and all forms of arts and crafts. As the years went by, my interest in the arts increased. In 1997, I began to seriously study fine art. In 2002, I had the opportunity to travel to the UK and my studies continued.
I am inspired by contemporary art and modern design. The beauty of nature and the complexity of human emotions. My interest and enthusiasm for creating abstracts and landscapes, has unleashed my natural talent. Among my styles, you will find geometry, impressionism, expressionism and more!
I've been selling my artwork on eBay since 2002. I am known for my large decorative paintings. They will bring life and energy to any room! My work is on display in private collections across Canada, the U.K., Australia and the United States.
I always strive for excellence! I only use professional quality art supplies and archive quality materials. My art is a huge part of my daily life. It seems like I cannot pass a blank canvas, without feeling the pull to begin creating something new.
My work is inspired by the beauty of nature and the complexity of human emotions. Influenced by Georgia O'Keefe in her use of form and John Waterhouse in his use of color, as well as many other Contemporary and Modern Artists. Expressionism and Outsider/Raw Art types are the current styles that my work can be labeled.
Incongruous materials (oil paint, acrylic paint, latex paint, glazes, papers, found objects) are manipulated until they form a dynamic composition that is also pleasing and balanced. Colors, textures and lines are layered over fresco treated canvas to form the complex thoughts being expressed. The colors chosen for each work are influenced two-fold by the season and the human condition. This affects the outcome whether it be a softer pastel shade, to a muted subtle shade, to a vibrant happy shade.
My work is on display in several galleries, as well as private collections Internationally and in the United States. I have also donated many paintings to various charitable organizations, to be auctioned for fundraising.
I always strive for excellence! I only use professional quality art supplies and archive quality materials. I personally supervise the packing and shipping of all my artwork, to ensure safe delivery.
I'd like to thank my customers! Your support and patronage allow me to continue doing the work I love.
