so there was this really cool challenge on face book and i fell in ~ had to create a piece inspired by frida kahlo for bohemia beer ~ went acrylic which I am really trying to practice more for times sake because my beloved oils take months to dry in my impasto style (ooohhh so good) ~ $10k 4 1st place ???  no brainer... especially when i found/studied frida all the more in the casa azul ... 1938 What the Water Gave Me ~ a symbolic work illustrating various events from the artist's life ~ so much fun and great inspiration...
