Prospectus

September brings EBSQ's biennial tradition, the Spam & Trout show. Born years ago as an inside joke, it has grown into a well-loved institution.

The entry requirements are simple. All entries must contain at least one trout or instance of spam. Preferably both. Preferably doing something unexpected.

This is not a media specific show. Feel free to use any and all materials to create your entry.

We are requesting an artist's statement with every entry that tells us a little something about your subject, why you chose it and something about the materials and process you used to create your entry. A statement can enhance the experience for the online viewer, particularly in the context of this particular show’s requirements. If you choose not to include a statement and the relevance of your entry to the show's theme is not readily apparent, we will request that you supply a short statement of explanation. We also encourage you to include detail shots of your entries. This will allow the viewer to full appreciate your work as small details can be lost in an online environment.

Eligible entries must meet all points of the prospectus. If you have any questions regarding the prospectus and its requirements, please send them to edu@ebsqart.com.

There is a cash prize of $150 for the Member's Choice winner. Are you up for the challenge?
