For the last couple of weeks I can not always get the forums to open.  Sometimes I have to click multiple times to get either a page to open or a dialouge box because nothing happens when i wait and wait....

This happens on more than one computer and does not happen anywhere else.  Is there a glitch?

No known issues at this time, nor has anyone reported anything similar. Not sure what's going on for you, but I'm sorry for the inconvenience!

Is it happening with all your browsers? Have you tried different ones?

I use firefox.  I have had to switch to explorer to see photos and such sometimes on this site but I can honestly say I can't stand Explorer.  It is not my computer because it does it on another computer too.  I suppose then it is firefox.  Nothing wrong with my connection...I never have a problem anywhere else.  Nope don't have verizon, besides I thought that was a cell phone company, lol.

Thanks all..must be firefox.

I use Firefox, too, and haven't had any issues. I'm on a Mac, though.

Steph, you're on satellite internet, right? Maybe you're having FAP issues? If so, the problem would disappear after 24 hours. You can check your usage on your system site, and it will tell you.

I have been having problems with pages not loading but I think mine may be server issues because, while it happens most often on this and the main site, it has happened on others. Since these are the sites that I am on the most, they are the ones that I would have the most trouble with.
And I use firefox, too.

Hi Muriel!  No, the satellite connection is at the lake, I have a beefed up dsl connection, one step better than the one the lowest price is.  Everywhere else I go is fast fast fast!  But for some reason...here it is not.  It seems mostly the problem is when I try to post.  Most of the time it won't.  Sometimes if I preview first it will post but today was not the answer...it just sat there and did nothing.

I had to open Exploder to post this message...no way can I post on this forum using firefox.    On any computer here.

weird.  I have broadband, and the opposite issue.  If I preview it seems to screw it up, so I don't and go back and edit.

I have found a fortunate counterbalance to the 30-sec rule: if you post and then edit quickly enough, it won't show as edit.

I'm not really sure what's going on. There are still no known issues, nor are we doing maintenance on the site (or forums) to cause the problem. But we're in the process of getting ready to migrate to a new service provider (and some much faster machines) so hopefully that will solve your problem?
