OK, well since you asked..heheheh The day started out in Grand Junction Colorado, in a rented van, heading towards Duluth Minnesota. First of all, relavent to the story is the rented van. Mine OWN van was sitting in Oklahoma getting a new transmission. Why? because idiot BF overloaded it with too much stuff. We were on a combination vacation/selling antiques at flea markets trip. Geeze, I made him take out a bunch of the weight, and I remember being crabby at him before we left home, telling him "it's a passenger van, not a cargo van". On the interstate in Oklahoma next to the world's biggest MeDonalds, my tranny blew. Anyway, it's relavant but not the story of the rest stop! So we leave Grand Junction. Me who can drive for many hours non-stop, with BF in the passenger seat supposedly reading the map and giving directions. After the required snowstorm in the Rockies, we SHOULD have come out in Nebraska, then Iowa, then home. This is small potatoes to me, I can drive this in a day no problem. But wait! We didn't come out in Nebraska! We somehow ended up in Topeka! The guy was a loser, some map reading skills he had! Well, so we pull into the rest stop in Topeka. It's about 10pm and pouring rain. HE had to bathroom and I sat with the map, someone had to get us out of there! HE (the loser) comes back to the van and announces that He's tired and HE wants us to sleep in the van at the rest stop! I am NOT tired one bit and want to keep going. I mean, if I am not tired and can keep driving, why do we stop cause the passenger is tired? WELL..... He/it wouldn't get in the van. He was demanding that we spend the night in the van in the rain in this desolate place and I was having none of it so I left him there! Well, I started to feel bad about that so I went back, there he was standing under a shelter in the night in the pouring rain. I yelled to him "are you ready to get in now?" . His snappy retort was Not if we're not going to spend the night here! OKKKKKKK. Well, this all didn't set to well with me. I hadn't lost it until this point, even though I ended up paying over $2,000. to rent this van, and after 2 weeks, mine own van still wasn't ready so I had to take the rented van home to Wisconsin, and then go BACK to Oklahoma to get my van, all because HE overpacked my little van! And there was this stupid little idiot refusing to get in the van so I could drive us toward home... Well, ALL of his stuff went out the doors! I told him if he wasn't going to get in and ride with me, his stuff wasn't riding with me either. I was flinging boxes and boxes of antiques out the door! Well ok, not quite flinging, but you get the idea! Last thing I could make out in my rear view mirror, was him standing in the rain with his boxes, getting smaller and smaller by the second, as I got further and further away! I drove all the way home to Wisconsin after that, only stopping for coffee and drive through food and bathroom. IT made it home a few days later, daring to be peeved at ME, lolol.... Idiot!
