jcborrero -> Homepage error (8/6/2006 2:30:45 PM)

OK.

Maybe we can tuck this away until things on the tech front have returned to normal... but here's what I have noticed.

You know the little house icon that appears at the bottom of a post on a thread which links a viewer to the person's website homepage?

OK...

In the WIP forum, if you click on that little house on the first post in a thread... the one posted by the originator of the thread.. it doesn't work.  It's something written into the code or something, because instead of calling up the website address, it also inserts information about the thread you are in...

so, in the thread that I started in the critiques section called Crazy Cat, if you click on the little house to get my website, the address bar above reads this:

http://www.ebsqart.com/forum/Illustration_%231%3a_Crazy_Cat/m_56608/www.johnborrero.com

when it should read:

www.johnborrero.com

I tried it on the next post in that forum with a website (Harlan's) to see if it was just in how I set up my profile or soemthing, and it happened the same way...

This doesn't look like something that can be repaired on the outside, but if it is, let me know, and I'm happy to do the leg work to fix it.  :)

[:)]  Thanks as always...

actually, kris jean's solution is the correct one. your url requires the http:// before the url for it to work properly.

(the same is true of the main site as well!!)
