Hey -
When I clicked your links, I got that message for the second one but not the first. Were you using links?
I am sure that the change to the message is on the list of things to do, as well as what is up with getting the message in the first place. Amie may no longer be trying to work from the hospital on, of all things, dial-up, but I imagine it still not a top priority at the moment. When Liam gets home, things are a bit settled and some of the more important issues have been dealt with, I am sure it will be addressed.

Oh - just to satisfy my own curiosity, when you get the message, is it coming up in red? I get it in black. It's not important or anything (at least I don't think so), I am just prone to noticing things like that. If everyone is looking at the elephant at the cocktail party, I have zeroed in on it's pedicure.

D,

A) it's not broken; it's the forum's stock message

B) because it's such, it's not an easy fix (particularly since it's in a programming language Bill isn't terribly familiar with) as it would require a complete re-write to change how this works for every instance that the stock message appears.

We simply don't have the time or resources to "fix" this right now. Sorry!

The reply did say that it is a large and time consuming task and that the time and the resourses are not available "right now." That does not mean that it won't be taken care of, but that at the moment, there are things that are more important to the overall well being of the individual members, the members as a whole and the site than this message. I can see that it is annoying, but it really is only that. I am sure that you can understand why, at this point in time, it really isn't priority.

When I cliked on the first link it when to an admin testing area an gave me an access denied thingie.
Of course, I'm not an admin so that's probably why Mel got into it and not us. Other thatn that, I have nothing helpful to offer...
