My guess is that you were trying to access a post that was deleted since we did have a solicitation that was on the public boards earlier that was removed. I agree, the message you got was misleading and doesn't really explain that, but it's an automated thing and Bill will have to dig around in the innards of the software to see if it can be reworded.

If that isn't the case, let me know and we'll deal with it when I get home from the hospital.

I got it before and after I logged in. I hit all forums and then things were normal again.

That post was deleted. EBSQ has a non-solicitation policy, and this particular patron has been doing variants of this same post on and off for the past year. And since the post was deleted, when you try to access it, that's why you're getting access denied. Hence the message you received. Sorry for the worry!

Like I said, we didn't write the software. We'll either have to do some sort of manual "fix" if and when time permits (since this is pretty low on the priority list at the moment) or contact the developers and put the bug in their ear about their confusing catch-all phrase that they use for pretty much everything on the site that isn't accessible for one reason or another.

But I do thank you for bringing this to our attention; as an admin, I don't get the same error when trying to access a deleted post and therefore didn't know.
