Artapaloozaintl aka Angela Gue is a new member and is having problems with the ebay template. Can someone out there give her a shout?

Angela-
I always have problems when I try to do the ebay templates by going into the ebay template page from the profile page.  Instead go to your art case, pull up the thumb nail of your art, and then click on the drag menu that says edit item and in that list there is an option called generate template.  That is the only way I can get it to work.

Hi Lisa,
I can go through the Art case and can get through the whole process, it's when I copy and paste in to eBay that eBay then says it will not accept the desciption. And yes, I check the HTML box and put it in the desciption box. Any ideas? Also, do you know if there is only one template available through EBSQ or if there are more than one. I only seem to find one. I have been trying for several days, so if anyone else knows the answers, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks. -Angela

there is only one template, that I know of, in ebsq.  okay - so I tried selling with ebay's new listing page and html didn't work for me.  don't know why- probably an ebay bug.  try going to the old listing page:



List using the original Sell Your Item form.

See if that works.

Hi Melissa,
All fixed...sort of. Lisa went on and tried it herself and also found that the new selling page that eBay has is not accepting the copy and paste from EBSQ. However the old selling page, still works, so that's what I did and was able to get something on using the template. YIPPEE! Now, I just need to adjust my wording and make it sound like I want it to, now that I know I can. I don't know if there is a way to get eBay to fix that little bug, but I thought I would let you know that it effects everyone not just me. For now we can at least get around it as long as they have the old page offered. Thanks again for your help with everything. Are you doing the pet swap? -Angela

Pet Swap? Not this year... no time. Though sometimes I have considered a real pet swap but then they get all wonderful and sweet and cute and I change my mind. And then... [;)]
