There are a couple different places where you might have an email address:
here on the forums (and it takes an admin to change that for you, lord only knows why, but we suspect a bug in the software)
your public email address, which is under "marketing" in your profile tools
your private contact address, which is under "identity"
You referenced PayPal as well in regard to your subscriptions. When you updated your info with them, that automatically changes the address from which we receive your PayPal notifications, but that doesn't change email addresses for you on the site since it's two different systems.
So--which profile is wrong? If it's 2 or 3, you can easily update that yourself. If it's #1, let us know and we'll manually sync that back up for you again.
