we're pretty much all getting it, and right now, we have no idea why. theoretically, no changes were made to our servers other than moving them, replugging them in, setting their new IP addresses, and reconnecting them to each other.

all i can say is that we're looking into this, and a few other unexpected problems, and hopefully we'll find something soon!

I am a bit luckier, I don't get the message all that often, but it takes forever to open up anything.  I usually click and then go off and do something else........it is like having dial-up.  Sheesh what must people with dial-up be going through!

But, I have faith in Bill and Amie, you guys will get it, we just need to have a bit more patience.........we are soooooo addicted to our little forum we are almost senseless without it!  LOL.

Ditto on the error messages - haven't seen them today (so far) but it's slow. Was seeing a lot of them after the forums came back up.

Is the system re-indexing?? That can really slow things down.

it shouldn't be; we suspect some other issues. hopefully things are already looking better since i haven't been getting an errors since this foray to the forums this morning.

is it *new* slow or same-old slow?

for me, it actually seems slightly faster, but that could also be because we don't have as much traffic as usual on the site.

Well...for me, it is waaaaaaay faster than it was before the downtime and shortly after. Still not superfast, especially when posting a message, but a very big improvement nonetheless.

Edit: posting this particular message was, indeed, "superfast"!

Seems now to be working faster! Yay!! :D

Earlier today opening a thread or trying to post a reply was very s l o w.

After spending some more time on the boards - MUCH FASTER!! YAY YAY YAY YAY!!!!
