Guest -> uploading problems? (2/28/2006 8:10:50 PM)

I've been trying for an hour and a half to upload images to my art case (to generate an auction template) and it just won't go thru...is it due to the adjustments being made here or is it just me? [8|]

Hi,

It's not you I have the same problem. Try loading one image at a time then going back and adding another, that is the only way I can get it to take. It's a real pain.

We apologize that this process can sometimes be slow, particularly for people with large files coupled with dial-up. Thanks for bearing with us!

thanks Delilah...I wondered if that might work...now I know in case I have the problem again! [;)]

and thanks Amie for your quick response...I think dial-up is probably a big part of the problem, but I have no choices here at the moment. [&o]

OK...I'm having the same problem again. This is what I get when I try to upload to my art case:
=(4) ) { vTotalItems = 5; vPreviousItem = 1; doArtSwap(); setInterval('doArtSwap()',4000); } else { return true; } } function doArtSwap() { var myObj; var myObj2; if (vPreviousItem != vTotalItems) { vCurrentItem=vPreviousItem+1; } else { vCurrentItem=1; } myObj = eval('artist' + vCurrentItem); myObj.filters[0].Apply(); myObj.style.visibility = 'visible'; myObj.filters.revealTrans.trans

or I just get "website not responding"...does this help to tell you anything Amie? [8|]

still just sounds like you're timing out, coupled with hitting a page with a broken jpeg in the rotating site-image at the top of the site on one lucky occassion. in that case, the error you received had nothing to do with you.

sorry we couldn't be more helpful. with dial up, you just kind of have to slog through and pray your provider doesn't have a bottleneck.
