I can't vote. It doesn't give me the button to vote. There is a box there that tells me I can vote and the deadline is Dec. 8, but no button to vote with. I have tried several times and did let the page load....but no voting box. Am I doing something wrong? Is the voting over with?

That happened to me last month Carolyn. It's a problem that seems to make the rounds, it seems to happen to different people every time.

What I ended up doing was I just told Amie who I wanted to vote for, but I think the vote button did finally come up for me at the last minute.

Is it that little facebook "like" button I am supposed to push just under the images on the exhibit page or within the page somewhere when I click on the individual art?

No that's the "cloud choice" vote, it shows up on your facebook. The members choice button is found when you click on the art, there's a box over to the right and it says something about voting. I was going to double check the exact wording but the front page is taking forever to load.

Amie, is the mysteriously disappearing "vote" button something that will be fixed with the upgrades in January? I hope so, I can only imagine how many people didn't vote over the last year or so because the button wasn't there.

This happened to me once, too, I can't remember when... a few months back. I haven't tried to vote in awhile (unfortunately [:-]) but I did vote today with no problems.

Try closing your browser, empty the cache, open up fresh and try again...? When I had that problem, I had been hitting the back button, and when I stopped doing that, the problem resolved itself.

That didn't work for me, but hopefully it will work for Heide. This month all of the VOTE buttons showed up correctly.

One more quick question (and sorry for the 11th hour, literally. I have bronchitis and the meds have pretty much knocked me out for the better part of the day)

Is everybody who can't see the vote button definitely logged into the main site? Non-logged in guests can't see the member buttons.

OH, I think that was my problem! I will log in and try again. I bet that is the problem. I Usually just come to the forums, and forget that I am not logged into the main part of EBSQ. Thanks!

Sadly, though, voting ended at midnight. Winners will be announced shortly. Sorry I wasn't able to come through with a fix for you in time. :(

That's ok. I wanted to vote, but these things happen. At least now I know the secret to getting that VOTE button to show up!!
