Hi, I am a new user setting up my portfolio, I have read help and all threads on the two following topics, 1) Creating Counters and 2) Creating Templates. When I follow all of the instructioms for creating templates no drop down window is present to select what type of template I need is present. With the counter codes, I assign a unique name to the counter in MY Art Case at Create Counters, but it does not create a counter, Can someone please give me some feedback. The template function is one of the main reasons I decided to enroll during the lifetime membership special period. Thanks....Joeallen Gibson

Hi! I think you've encountered a section of that FAQ that should have been updated but wasn't (sorry about that!)

To use templates/counters:

Go to your profile tools (the place where you upload art)

For templates:
Click "my art"
Find the piece for which you wish to create a template
click "edit"
click "other tools"
click "create html view of this art (templates)"
choose the template type you prefer
follow the wizard, generate your code, then paste your template into eBay using their html version when creating an auction
Be aware when using our templates, your counter is automatically created for you, and can be found under "manage counters"

For counters that aren't part of our templates:
while in your profile tools click "create counters/links"
choose your counter/link type
paste your code on a page you wish to count.
