It is a very striking image and I am thrilled to see it is you did it with ArtRage!! How do you like ArtRage? You do very well with it! I have not tried it but I have wondered about it!

I came THAT close to voting for that piece, but then didn't, not because of the art, but because there was no artist's statement. In fact I thought a statement was required in a show? Used to be, anyway... So... I don't mean to be critical, but I am just saying, a statement really tops it off nicely and a piece feels "empty" to me if there is no statement. Just so's you know. [:)]

Artist statements are no longer required. But I agree, they make a huge difference in the presentation of one's art.

Thank you Carolyn, Artrage is a great tool, I love it. Artrage lets you create paintings without the pressure of messing up
(if you know what I mean:)). I have two kids and a full time job so I don't always have the time or the space to get out
my paints and canvases. ArtRage allows me to Paint and satisfy my need to create without the hassle or the mess. Its not for everyone tho, some artists think its cheating and the skill and talent have been taken away. Shame really:( But hey ho!!! you can't please everyone:) I suggest you give it a try.

Thank you, Craig for the update and enthusiasm for ArtRage! It is something I should look into. I have painter and have just been frustrated by it. I don't know why I can't seem to make it do what I want it to do. I will look into ArtRage.........

AND, digital work is not cheating!!!!!!! I hate it when I hear people saying that!! (I think they are just jealous that we digital people have so little to clean up! LOL :)

Well obviously it is a great piece and I was honestly torn between it and the one I voted for. It was the statement on the other that tipped the scale, that's all. Congratulations again! [:)]
