If you find you're missing images (ie, they're showing up as broken jpgs) please let us know in this thread. We do still have some recovered images that haven't been properly matched up yet, and getting your user id will make it easier for us to match your missing images for you.

Hey, a lot of us recognise our fellow artist work, so maybee post a few of the "homeless" images here and we can try to take a guess at who they belong to! :)

I appreciate the offer, but not all of the images we have in this particular recovered folder *are* homeless. Many of them are duplicate files. That's why we're asking members to come to us if there's an issue with their images. If you know of someone missing images, even if they don't report it themselves, please let us know!

NP, just thought we could make it like that game we had on here a while back.... the one where we tried to match up a painting with an artist..... Haha, I miss that (sorta)

I am missing a lot of images throughout my portfolio. Also, the photo on my profile page.

As a test, I went into my profile pages, and tested reuploading one of the missing images. This worked, but will be quite time consuming on my end. Any thoughts on where my images might be and if you think you'll be able to restore my pages?

Thought I would check back and see how missing image recovery is going. I am still missing lots of images in my Portfolio pages as well as Exhibit Entries, Winning Entries and AOTD.

I don't know this definitively, but basically what we've seen for members who have some but not all images missing, those images are typically gone for good. We are still looking, but thus far, no luck yet in your case. :(

Man that would really suck Wendy!!!

Was there backup being performed? Did that crater too? I had my laptop stolen a couple of weeks ago and some of the images I only have left on EBSQ.

I hope there is some way to avoid something so major in the future.

When our equipment mysteriously died (they never divulged what happened before we fired them), they lost our backup as well as our live data. They also managed to corrupt 90% of my email archive for 2011.

It did suck! It took a while, but I am back in order. Thankfully I had the images well organized on my computer and was able to reupload them. Towards the end, some some images in the exhibit and AOTD sections showed up on their own.

The one thing I am noticing site-wide, is that in the Exhibits area of our portfolios, only award winning pieces have the name of the show that was entered, the others are missing show names. Any way to fix this?
