Flash: You have version 10,2,152,32 installed

But I think my problem is ignorance.  I'm not techy-- that's why I make art the old fashioned way.  I want to add a "buy now" button.  I new how to do it in the last version of ebsq.  I generated the code for the button in pay pal but I have no idea where to put it.  I also have old code buttons on images now that are no longer relevant but I don't know where to go to delete it.  It used to be in the item description area, I think it was called--you know where you write about your pictures.  Now it's a mystery.  I want to keep my image in the Japan show, but I'm having trouble knowing how.  I need to
1. add a "buy now" button.
2. Somehow show you that the money minus shipping is going to a Tokyo organization.  --this part is a complete mystery.  I was just going to transfer it -minus shipping-- from pay pal to one of their donate links , how I do it on this site?  CLUELESS!!!!
I have a "real job" now so I'm not here as much as I used to be. This new "bloggy" site is like trying to learn ebsq all over again.  Just when I had it all figured out....

Vikki,

It's still in the description area. You just need to click the html button on the text editor to go back and forth between "code view" and "regular view." You delete in the same area. If you can't tell which button is which, hover over all of them once you're in edit mode and the names of each button will appear over each.

Also, I'm confused about your shipping money question. If you're using a PayPal button for your work to be paid for, that money goes to PayPal, same as before. You then donate whatever percentage you agreed to donate once the money is in your PayPal account. If your piece is 100% except for shipping, you need to include shipping in your price so that you're able to collect that money for shipping. And just make sure you're explicit in your description that the fee includes shipping.

Vikki,

It occurs to me that how I described how to add code now likely wasn't helpful enough since you said you're not techy and I'm realizing my reply was still probably too techy. Let's see if this helps.

Click "my profile"
Click "my art"
Go to the piece you want to edit and click "edit"
On this page, you'll see the title, media, and your description. Click anywhere on your description to bring up the editor
If you did the above step successfully, you'll see a bunk of little icons above your text. You want to hover over those icons and click "view html source"
This is what puts you in html mode. Here is where you add your code from PayPal (or remove it if you're cleaning up an outdated button"
When you're done adding your button code, click that "view html source" icon again to go back to normal view
To save, simply click the page anywhere BUT the section where you were just working on your artist statement. This closes the editor.

Does that make more sense?

&quot;Best Friends Forever&quot; starts in childhood.<br />

when I place a: under b: nothing happens.  If I'm placing it in the wrong place, be VERY SPECIFIC as to how to find where it goes.  thanks.

Are you in your art case when you try to add the PayPal code?

Did you see my description in the post right before yours that included your code?

I didn't see it at first but I just tried again- and I didn't see anything, again- this time with no "return" before I pasted, still nothing.

I see it worked in your "Old Friends" piece in the Relief for Japan Gallery. Excellent! Now (please don't hate me!) all you have to do is:

add the price
the charity
and the percentage that's going to that charity in your description
