Help! - 3/1/2011 7:28:16 PM

I know you hear this alot...having difficulties with this new website. I have just joined and love the concept...just don't love the format. I know I just have to learn it...but I have been at it all day...literally! I have read that there is some sort of new format coming...or is this it? I noticed the FAQ'S don't match up with the screen...there is no such thing as a menu on the left or such a thing as "Hosting".
Can anyone clarify what is going on? I am trying to add more of my works, but it won't let me verify them (or whatever the term is). I'm tired and maybe fresh eyes in the am will help...but after reading some other posts... I am not alone with the frustration level.

Is there anyway you can have a button somewhere on the site that says (start here)? I realize there are some...but they literally go nowhere! It goes step 1...step 2...............

Is there anywhere to contact a person to get help other than forums?
Any and all help welcome...it is a miracle I got to here! I am not...not computer savy (although some say I am)...I just have a "never give up " attitude!

Thanks in advance

Jackie,

Is there something specific we can help you with beyond what we discussed earlier via email?

Let us know where you're getting stuck so we can help point you in the right direction.

(and please ignore the FAQ right now because it's woefully out of date and scheduled to be changed over completely VERY soon)

-Amie

Hi Jackie, let me first say...Welcome to the Forums!!! it is good to have you hear and hopefully we can help. I know the frustration when you start on a new site...everything seems bent toward frustrating you!!

You start at your Profile. then click the My Art Tab and follow what it says......have you been able to get that far? Are you having trouble after you upload?

Hang in there...

Carolyn

Thanks everyone for your response...I just can't seem to be able to add any of the pics I downloaded to my portfolio or gallery. It won't let me change file name or anything. Any suggestions?
Thanks.

No, there's no limit.

Are your pictures perhaps still in New Art? Did you add them to a personal gallery?

Also, what browser/OS are you using, please? We haven't had anyone previously report issues renaming their jpegs yet.
