I just uploaded a pair of earrings, everything went pretty well, but I did notice that the Title name of the piece does not save the first time you edit it. I mean, say you upload your picture, then go into your Newly updated items, retrieve it and then change it to gallery. All good until you give it a title. It says that it saves the title but it doesn't. You finish your details, etc. then close the edit window and your piece is still the original file name. Now, at first I thought that it was because the main gallery page just wasn't updating, which it isn't until you refresh it (hopefully this will change and it will update on exit from the edit window), but when you go back into edit the piece for the second time, the title is still the original filename and you have to type it in for the second time. Another minor thing is that in the My Art page, the text for the Personal Gallery Filter overlaps the dropdown box for the Image role.

I'm using Chrome now, all good until I go and try and print a shipping label out of Paypal. For anyone else having this problem there is supposed to be a workaround for it though it doesn't work for me 100% of the time.

I know this has been brought up before, but in the future will we have the ability to delete work from our portfolios? I've accidentally uploaded the wrong image a couple of times now, and although I know it can be "hidden" I'd prefer to just be able to delete them completely. It bothers me knowing they're there.

I like to be able to delete some pics, as I weed out art that I don't think is as good as current pieces I am putting up. I like to have my better work showing in my portfolio. I also like to be able to cull out pics in my hidden files. If we can't delete it becomes bulky and cumbersome to work. I'll be glad when we can delete again. It helps me keep my portfolio up to speed and relevant. Actually my portfolio needs a lot of organizing right now.

As I stated in the other thread in which you posted about your upload issues, much of the FAQ is outdated right now. Since we'll be releasing some changes to the upload tools fairly soon, we've held off on doing a fuller update to the FAQ until we know that the tools are 100% done and not changing. Hopefully the next version will be a LOT more intuitive for everyone. I personally think it is, but only you guys will be able to let us know this for certain!

I haven't read through this whole thread so this may have been reported:

When I go to enter in DETAILS - if I click SAVE to save them - it does save them but tosses me out of the edit mode so that I can't go on to the next detail to add without starting from the beginning again. I would much rather put in all the DETAIL information and save it once for that whole page rather than doing a save (which throws me out) on each of the details.

Actually, I would like to be able to work through the various tabs for entering in some new art and have a SAVE at the end which saves all of it.

I haven't found where to change the title yet so will have to go back and look for that.

What you're describing is a known IE bug that has been handled in the new version of the art-management tools which we're getting ready to release soon. Just have to do a bit more testing first to make sure we're not introducing more problems, as well as squashing all of the known IE-related upload/editing bugs for IE 6 & 7.

Okay!! It also wasn't saving my keywords even though I was clicking save - and also didn't seem to be placing the item into the gallery I created. Tells me there is one item not assigned to a gallery but doesn't find anything when i try to search for what it may be.

I'm sure when it is working correctly it will be super!! (and I did find out how to change the title - not obvious, but I found it!)

Okay, I'm going to try to explain a little problem I've been having since the beginning of the Switchover -- I've looked through the thread to see if it's been already been addressed.... Gosh, how to explain...? When I'm on the 'Details' page, the window remains 'stuck' so that the very top of it is just out of view from where I can access the 'close' button. I want to be able to close the window using the 'X' button at the top of the page -- I try scrolling down, but the page immediately 'snaps' right back up into position where I can't see/get at it again. I'm forced to use the back button to get off the Details page -- that throws me back a step or two and i have to start all over again to edit my other images. It would just be a lot easier if I could simply click on that silly 'X' that's just out of view....! Anyway, does this even make any sense?

(in other new I was able to upload my art quickly and easily this morning with my Ubuntu using Wine -- cool!)

Patience I'm so glad Wine worked out for you!!

As for this latest bug...I wonder if there is a keyboard shortcut that would close that little window. There are keyboard shortcuts for so many things, but we often are unaware they exist. It would fix the problem, but it would be a sort of solution in your case.

I'm going to do some digging!

I did forward this to Bill earlier. Still no solution for you yet. But I do know what you mean; my iPhone (using Safari) does the same thing you're describing.

Patience, trying hitting the Esc button when you are ready to close that little editing window. It worked for me on Google Chrome (In Windows) -- I haven't tried it in Wine, but I can't see how it would be different.

Worth a shot!

I was just doing some updating of my website and realized that we no longer have the option of obtaining thumbnails of the detail images but just the main image. Will this be considered in the future?

Thanks so much for the replies and the suggestions -- I'm glad that what I was trying to explain made at least SOME sense! (plus glad I'm not the only one with this particular issue.) In any case, using the esc button is the perfect solution -- tried it, and of course it worked like a charm ;-). Don't know why I couldn't have figured that out on my own, but there you go ;-). Anyway thanks so much for the help...!
