We logged it. There seems to be a lot of punctuation issues with personal gallery names and the new page url nomenclature. We'll probably be able to tackle that tomorrow. Sorry I forgot to say something!

No problem, I just wanted to be sure you'd seen it. Also I can't even rename that gallery & am not sure if it's because of the apostrophe or if it's because that's a feature that isn't ready yet.

Torrie,

This might be a weird question, but are you accessing your ArtCase through a saved link or are you getting their directly via the "My Profile" tab?

We'll take a look at your personal error logs to see if we can figure anything out from there. Marcia Baldwin is having what sounds like the same problem and we're researching her case right now.

Are you still here? Quick question: how long are your jpg file names? I haven't dug into your logs yet, but if you're having the same problem Marcia was, her jpg titles were over 30 characters with the .jpg added at the end. Since the new upload tool temporarily uses the jpg name as the default title until it's changed, and since that was over our character limit, it failed. We're fixing that on our end now.

I uploaded 5 new pieces but they are not showing in my portfolio. They are in the main gallery, so they should be there. Actually, 2 of them were there and then they disappeared. I'm not sure what is going on. I'm now using Chrome.

Could you give me either the titles (if you got them titled) or the names of the jpgs (if you didn't) so we can look into it?

Hi Amie,

They just suddenly appeared! The first 2 disappeared last night, but all is good now.

Thanks!

This is more of a question than a bug. This evening I began adding details to the artworks I uploaded earlier when the art case still had bugs. I noticed after adding them to my personal gallery that they are not showing up on the front page under Our Freshest Art. Also, they are placed with previous uploaded art - instead of being the the "newest."

So, is the art you upload placed according to the date it was uploaded; regardless of when you actually place it in a personal gallery?

Amanda, I'm not really sure of the answer, but I'll see what I can find out!

I also have more of a question than a bug. I want to do some cleaning of my portfolio and I have a couple of images that I want to remove, but they were part of a show, so have to stay. How can I make them invisible to others? I know you told someone already how to do this, but for the life of me I can't find it. Thank you, Amie!

Two answers to two questions:

Amanda: I found out that Freshest Art depends upon both when it was added numerically speaking AND whether or not it's public. If you make an image public and its image number is higher than those on the front page, it will show up there. But if it's lower, it won't, even if it was the most recent image made public.

Carolyn: While this won't remove the pieces in question from a show or AOTD (or your exhibits & aotd tabs in your portfolio) you CAN hide a piece from your primary public portfolio by selecting "hidden" as its image role.
