Olga, you probably already told me, but what version of IE? I tested it in IE 7 and I can't replicate the problem.

AOL might be running on a IE shell like MSN's browser does. I know my mom, who runs an IE6 MSN browser has problems with clicking our links on Facebook.

Maybe we could start a new "Relaunch Bugs" section. This is getting so long it's hard to tell what has been covered.

Okay, I think I figured out Analytics. You put the UA code in the box not the HTML, right? I have to wait 24 hours now to see if it took.

Does it also give you analytics on exhibits, art, profile, etc. like we had before?

Also, I can't find where to put html like if I want to put a ETSY mini in the description or a Paypal button like you used to be able to. I tried it, but it didn't work.

Thanks,
Sherry

Sherry you can find the button to switch to HTML view in the image I attacked. Just click on that button and then you can insert code where you like.   I'm actually working on a new tutorial for adding Paypal buttons - should be complete by this afternoon.

And you are right about the UA code - it's just the string of numbers/letters you enter not the HTML code.

Ahhh... thank u Amanda. Is there a place for that on our profile page too?

No, what I mean is used to be able to get html or template, can't remember which so that we can update our EBAY About Me Page.

Yes, there is the same HTML button when editing the text for your profile page/artist's statement.

Don't know about the other though, sorry.

We discontinued the About Me page generator, but you can still generate regular templates, including a new beta version one, when you're editing a piece. It's under the "Other Tools" tab.

If there's enough interest, we may re-add it in the future.

Hi,

I have looked throght the post and this may be in here some place but I didn't see it. When I go to edit and put a discription in each tome I save I am back to the image and must go throught all the screen again to put the next part of the discription in, very time consuming. Is there a way or is one being planed so you can add all discriptions and save at one time?

That's a known IE bug. While we're working to correct that on our end, we suggest trying Chrome, Firefox, or Safari to see if that solves your problem.

Still have unresolved issue with the "My Art" tab. There is an overlap of text which has not worked itself out, as I thought it probably would after a while, so I am reporting it here. It happens with both Safari and Firefox.
[image][/image]

Am trying to upload a jpg image of it, but it doesn't appear to be attaching. I have tried several times different ways, but I still do not see the image when I preview this post. Sorry...hope you can figure out what I mean should no image appear here.

This happens for me too, I believe I reported it awhile ago.  It doesn't prevent me from doing anything but is kind of annoying & looks unprofessional.

One thing I've noticed lately too is how slowly everything runs, with the exception of the forums.

And finally, this isn't really a bug but rather something that is considerably more difficult than in the old version but looking up old shows is a major hassle now (unless I'm missing something).  If I wanted to, say, see what shows were in 2004 (or look up a particular show from that year) I have to scroll through pages & pages of shows until I find what I'm looking for.  The old version listed each show by year so we could quickly and easily see what shows were when.

We're aware of the overlap problem. It's not a factor in all browser types and it's one of the bugs that will patched when we release the next version of the upload tools.

As to shows, we've never had them listed by year (although I personally wanted to!). Instead, they all used to be listed down the left-hand side in one giant sidebar. We do plan to make this section of the site more easily searchable in the near future. Thanks for your feedback!

Yes they were in a long list down the sidebar, but the list was reverse chronological so it was very easy to see which shows were in which year, I never had a problem finding anything then. If you do make it searchable I hope that search is by year as well as by topic.
