Hey kids, we're back! We're squashing bugs as quickly as we find them. But we know you'll find stuff we haven't seen yet, so please report your bugs here!

Looks good so far as I can tell... Some things probably just aren't going to work for me through the iPad I guess (the art case) but no trouble navigating everything.

Are you talking about editing/organizing or uploading issues with the ipad? I don't think we'll be able to handle "mobile" uploads just yet since they pretty much require an app that can browse specific devices for images stored there. Considering i have an iPhone, this WILL happen, but just not yet.

I just spent some time in my art case and some of my descriptions (artist statements) are missing. I use Firefox and Windows 7. I almost didn't want to say anything... I saw the blurb about new art not appearing on the site yet, so thought there might be bugs in the art case that you are already aware of and in the process of sorting out. I did try to upload a new piece and yup, I can't find it anywhere except for the text in the drop down menu that says "New Uploads (1 item)". So I didn't panic about that, but thought I should mention the statement thing in case you didn't know... When I click on the "Details" tab, it gives the details (media, measurements, etc.) but where it says "Statement", some of them are blank, and I know I didn't do it that way originally. Some are show pieces that required a statement, but it's no longer there (for example, my "Lava Lamps", which was a show winner).

Good job, though - I LOVE the new look!

I just noticed in the "Details" section in my art case, some of the dates are missing, too. ("Date of work").

Ditto, no art in the AOTD. The art description section doesn't line up in my portfolio.

LOOKS GREAT

When I clicked on the tab My Art (the art case) my browser (Firefox) slowed and a pop-up window appeared with this message:

A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, or you can continue to see if the script will complete.

Script: http://www.ebsqart.com/dojo/dojo/dojo.js:14

Also, I can't seem to view the art in my art case by gallery. Like, if I wanted to see only art in my Digital, etc. Or art only in my personal galleries. It says there was no art found. And the drop downs sometimes overlap - see attached image.

We know; the mailer was still pointing to the old database. Bill just now went to bed after spending 5 hours re-routing all of that.

We'll be looking into the description thing later. Not sure why they didn't make it over, although everything should still be backed up elsewhere.

Counters aren't integrated yet, but you *can* check them here: http://www.ebsqart.com/countermanage.asp
You won't be able to add, delete, or clear them yet, but they are still counting. It's one of the many things we missed getting pointed to the new database.
Same with the search and the logo jpgs (seems to be pointing to the development server). We should have all of that re-routed later today.

Thanks for the heads up!

Hi, I am a member of EBSQART. I am having trouble trying to load a picture and then creating a COA. I thought I had loaded a picture but cannot search for it anywhere, and therefore cannnot create a COA.

Can someone let me know what to do?

Thanks

Torrie...I don't know about the logos but on my blog I had to redo my links to some but not all of my EBSQ stuff like profile and portfolio. On my favorite artist, if I had a link to their profile/portfolio I am having to re-link those as well. I am still looking at what I have to re-link. I haven't looked at EBAY yet for my EBSQ profile template I have there.

I hear the counters are being worked on...Sherry

Dawn, search doesn't seem to be working properly right now, so unfortunately you won't be able to generate COAs from new work just yet. COAs from existing work *should* be fine. We hope to have that sorted out later today. Sorry for the inconvenience!

I can't be sure, but I think EBSQ just crashed Firefox. I was trying to edit my Commissions page and it went bye, bye. It could have just been Firefox though too - it's becoming my least favorite browser these days.

UPDATE: I tried to do the same thing again, and it crashed. So it was something in the new site that crashed the browser. I was actually in my Commissions Tab and I was highlighting text with the mouse and that's what crashed it.

I think Amie and I posted at the same time on this one...Torrie I will just wait until we are bug free also to see if there is anything else I will need to do on my part on my blog, etc. or if it all works itself out.
