Ok if you post this into a listing and click view youll see that everything is awry..I didnt finalize the listing..can you please open up to sell an item on ebay and paste this code in-click view-then just cancel it when you figure out whats going on with the code...PLEASE

Ok if you post this into a listing and click view youll see that everything is awry..I didnt finalize the listing..can you please open up to sell an item on ebay and paste this code in-click view-then just cancel it when you figure out whats going on with the code...PLEASE


This is the exact problem I have been having for awhile.

Status: offline 		I put that same code into an html file and viewed in Firefox and Chrome and it looks exactly the same on my computer.

Maybe it's something specifically on Ebay's end?

Status: offline 		It didn't even look weird to me in preview on eBay. There definitely isn't a problem with the code. Have either of you tried a different browser? I'm not sure what else to tell you since I can't replicate the problem...

Status: offline 		the normal part of the listing looks fine. what did you do differently between the top and the bottom? maybe your scrolling thinger has code in it that's interfering with our code?

 I had to just try and line everything up with the backspace button and delete whole blocks of huge space in-between sections..

Status: offline 		I'm not sure why this is happening to you and Sherry and not other members using the templates. Did the template look correct in preview before you saved your listing? And have you tried listing without the scrolling thinger?

 nope it looked all screwed up right after i switched the view back to normal..it sux whatever it is. and it happens every time..Ive completely cleared out my saved artist statement and policies and made new ones..Ive tried everything.

 I use to use mozilla up until a few months ago when I switched to chrome (way faster btw) ..I had the same issue with Mozilla/Firefox

Status: offline 		Question: are you pasting the code straight from EBSQ, or are you pasting it into a text file first (or some other piece of software) and then grabbing it from there once you're at eBay?

Truly, I don't know what's causing the problem, but it's not us. Doesn't mean we aren't going to try to help you find an answer, but there's no problem with the actual code.

Sorry to hear your technical issue has been going on for so long. Your report, and Sherry's last weekend, is the first we're hearing about it.

Status: offline 		I have had the exact same problem of all the things Michele has listed. I emailed Ebay months ago and they said they didn't know what the problem was and they said they didn't support EBSQ templates so they couldn't tell me what the problem was.

I just cut and paste it directly from EBSQ into the HTML section on Ebay and I have had to do the same thing as Michelle, trying to back out a bunch of code to try and get some semblance of the way it should be. Don't know if I'm explaining this too well by written word.

After I paste it and go to standard view then it's all messed up. The thing that is frustrating is it used to be just fine and I enjoyed using the template.
