Hello Sandra...Very cool work. I'm not sure where you would put it though. I'm sure Amie will be along an change your forum status to artist!

Hi Sandra!! Welcome here. Your work is stunning, just stunning!! I am so impressed with that you can do with rolled paper. That heron is really amazing, the rolled paper looks like feathers!

Not sure where you should put your work. Hopefully Amie will be along and can help you out.

Welcome!!

Carolyn

We don't have a gallery for that method (yet) so in the interim, I'd suggest our wildlife gallery.

And status fixed. Sorry about that!

Thanks for making me an artist! I have uploaded my picture, so that is now fixed too. I will place my work in the wildlife gallery, as that may be better since quilling is not that known. What is the process to get a quilling gallery?

We would need at least 3 quillers with a significant body of work to consider it. So, we're 1/3 of the way there, lol! Have any friends you want to invite?

Also, I just updated your status. YOU made you an artist

I really don't know anyone else personally that does quilling, but I do have a number of people that follow my blog that do quilling their way. I will get it on my blog and we will see what happens. That would be good to see other quilling. Thanks Gillie

Carolyn, that is a great idea. I actually have a piece that I display in my booth at shows that has four pieces in progress. Maybe I could get to taking the glass off and photographing the pieces. Where would I put that in this community. Did I see a how to forum somewhere?

Just wanted to update everyone........I just posted on my blog about this site and am hoping to get a couple of quillers to sign up so maybe we can have our own quilling gallery. Time will tell.
You can check it out at www.quillingbysandrawhite.blogspot.com.

Here is one of my custom wedding invitation keepsakes that I just mailed out.

click on it to see it really well............all the details in the flowers.

Welcome Sandra! Glad to have you here in the forums.

Also, Congrats on having your artwork featured on EBSQ's front page as Art Of The Day.

We may not have a Quilling gallery but your work could still fit into any number of galleries by subject, such as botanical and floral, wildlife, or representational abstract, assemblage and mixed media gallery, and so forth.

You can pick up to three galleries (you probably know that, but just in case).

Again, welcome...(-:

Sherry

Thank you, Jackie for stopping by and enjoying my fractals. I used to do them much more often than I do now, but I know what you mean about loving fractals!

I see you are now officially an EBSQ Artist! Yay for you!!
