Thanks Amanda
I like your Beacon Moon Trees watercolor on Etsy.
I'm still still stumbling around a bit trying to learn how to navigate on this forum

annradley -> RE: New to EBSQ? Say hello! (3/9/2011 11:00:14 AM)

So nice to hear all these warm welcomes.

well I'd been watching EBSQ for a long time (as a patron from afar). There are so many online venues out there, and each one is a commitment of time sitting at the computer not to mention money...and I am already over committed in both. I was so impressed when I emailed questions to support @ EBSQ on a Sunday afternoon ---expecting to wait a at least a business day or 2 before hearing back, and I had a great response from Amie within a couple of hours!

OK so I love to paint dancers, people, animals............whatever I find beautiful and exciting at time. In another life I worked on Wall street (started drawing on the side there), moved to London, worked there, got laid off (yippee) became more of a full time artist, had a baby (late in life!) moved to Washington, got divorced, money tight, but we're making it, me and my girl who is 14 now.

I love to write for Squidoo (although to do a single lens takes me months), but it is worth it. I have most of my work on FAA, and have my work in exhibits locally at times. I practice yoga, and am very drawn to that state of inner peace - and would like to convey that in paint. I would love to have a few more lifetimes to explore everything that is exciting to draw and paint and all the ways it can be done

Hey krisjean -

I enjoyed looking through your blog and congrats on your Snowdrops painting!

Yeah there are a few things on ebsq I've haven't figured out yet. One question is how do you get those icons at the bottom of your posts - like you've got Ebay, Imagekind etc.??? I've got my FineaArtAmerica link info put into my profile on the main ebsq, but no see no place to enter this info on the Community Forum profile. And also the entries on this profile form - some just don't make sense...ICQ, Yahoo, AOL,
MSN??? What sort of info am I suppost to enter here?

Thanks so much for your help!

I wanted to welcome you and let you know how much I enjoyed your little bio. So nice to know more about you, it fills you out more!! I like Squidoo, too, but haven't done anything on my lens in a long time...it is definitely languishing...I think my pictures are missing and I don't know why. Should probably go have a look!!

Welcome.....oh, and I can't help you with the links because I don't remember how I did them...I think it is in your account here on the forums. I think. Hopefully some of the smart people will be along to help!!!

Hi, Ann, welcome! The icons here on the forum are entered on your profile on the main site. Go to ebsqart.com and click on "My Profile", then click on the "My Links" tab. Fill in info for any site you are affiliated with, and it should show up here. As far as the ICQ, Yahoo, AOL, etc. that are on the forum profile, if you participate in any of those instant messaging venues, you are welcome to enter the info in those fields. Hope that helps.
Linda

annradley -> RE: New to EBSQ? Say hello! (3/12/2011 3:02:35 PM)

Thanks Linda. I checked out those links on the main profile and I do have a link to my site on Fineartamerica - pretty sure I've entered it correctly, as it shows up on my main site, it doesn't show up here on posts in the forum. However I realize that linking to FAA is a pretty recent addition to EBSQ so maybe that is why??

bromley2 -> RE: New to EBSQ? Say hello! (3/12/2011 6:15:51 PM)

Ann, I think to create links here in the forum you have to go to your "my profile" here in the forums. That is at the top of the page. Hopefully it makes sense after that because I don't remember how I did mine!

No, the profile here on the forums doesn't have a place to enter the links to eBay and Etsy, etc. Seems like that's where they should be, but no... lol. Confused yet? I do think the recent additions, such as FAA and others don't show up here (yet). It's only a select few that do, by whatever logic, who knows... Maybe Amie will drop in and give us the bonafide intelligent response. [:D]

bromley2 -> RE: New to EBSQ? Say hello! (3/13/2011 3:20:43 PM)

Oh my, really? I could have sworn I did my links here...oh well, so much for my knowledge....

I don't think Bill set things up yet to show all of the newly added venues here on the forums. I'll give it a mention.

But folks are correct: you don't add that info here on the forums; it's added on the main site (under "links") and then shows up here automatically.

Hello! I'm new and wanted to state how excited I am about EBSQ! I am looking forward to first - learning the site and guidelines, and then communicating with other artists.

Regards,
Sena Wilson
