I've been trying to put my new blog link in under my avatar but can't figure out where to do it....I went to my profile, and I just can't find where to put it...I know I've done this before because I have an etsy logo and imagekind, but cannot remember how lol...

I didnt think we could put blog links there, can we? You could always put it in a signature line, I think that's what most people do.

You have to put it in your signature. There isn't an icon. Look at these and you will see what I mean.

In your main profile there's a place to add your blog (under marketing tools, external links) but that info goes on your regular ebsq profile, not here. I'm going to look around some more for you.

OK Melissa said what I was going to say - what shows up here is from your main profile and there's no place there for a blog listing. Maybe that's something that could be added in the future though.

I haven't done it myself but I assume just put in the whole thing: http:// etc.

Adding http:// will make it a live link.

You can also name the link, for example My polymer clay blog (or whatever you want).
For example:
[link=, thenhttp://laurenabramspolymerclay.blogspot.com], then My Polymer Clay Blog[/link]

Only put in what is not in italics, with no spaces or commas. I hope it's not confusing! [8|] I tried putting it in as is, but of course it converts to a link and you couldn't see... [:D]

If you want a link to your blog on the main site, it's done under "external links" in your admin tools. Make sure you include the full address with the http://...

If you want to add it to the forums, it has to be added to your forum signature.

LOL, it took me 4 edits to get it right..
You're getting close. Let me look...

You have a stray comma and space after link=
If you remove those, it should work...
You CAN put a space between MY and BLOG. In fact, you can put anything you want there.

Now you've got me curious, I'm going to try it myself, although I only update my blogs sporadically but maybe having a link will inspire me to do it more often.

OK that wasn't too bad, Lauren just click on the thing that says PGD code, copy & paste it in your signature line & then replace it with your own info.

For our purposes, an external link is any url that leads someone visiting the EBSQ website to somewhere other than another section of the EBSQ website such as your personal website, etsy, ebay, your blog, etc. Hopefully this becomes obvious enough when you click on the "external links" section in your admin tools.

Thanks for asking; I am sure others have wondered the same thing!

thanks Aime......I was so proud of myself lol....I went to my profile, found external links, saw that I had my old blog there and changed it....sigh, now if only I can remember this tomorrow.....[:D][:D][:D]
