Hello all from the rockbound coast of Maine! I'm glad to be here, this looks like a fun and lively site with some very clever and imaginative folks. I hope I can learn and grow here as an artist, and maybe help some others on the way. I've been painting since 1998/99,and drawing since before I could write. I lke all kinds of work, though I often do animal portraits in watercolor; I just sort of fell into that.
Here's a sample, if I can fit the file (and if you want, you can go google 'artresa' and find some of my older work on my website):

Keep in mind I am artistically handy, but computer challenged.
Severely computer challenged, like Rain Man, only in reverse.

Here goes:

Copied the link here:http://artresa.spirited-ireland.net/

An oldie but a favorite, it's my brother's little punt pulled up for the day at my family's wharf. The colors are wicked washed out looking in this copy....hhhmmmmm.

This is an old favorite, one of the few that I ever regretted selling.

Oh yeah, animals....here's one I really liked, and it is FULL of quinacridones and glazes, though the photo here is washed out a lot, you can still see the ideas I had for colors:

Hi Teresa!  Great stuff!  I see you are registered as a Patron.  For a small monthly fee, you can sign up as an artists memeber, have an online portfolio that you can even seel from via PayPal, and access to many more Forums than you see.  TONS of great info and idea exchanges, adn so on.  I hope you consider it, but either way, please do stick around and show us more!

Your art is really lovely ... I am drawn to water, so I especially like the first one ... but the second looks like it could also be an underwater scene. Beautiful.

One of our members is in your neck of the woods right now, at Haystack Mountain, taking a metalsmith/forging workshop.
