Hi everyone!  New member here with a question, or maybe you can help me towards the right answer.  A little about me first.... I'm 25, married, and have two toddlers.  As far as my artsy-ness goes, I can crochet some, I loooove to scrapbook if and when I can find the time, and I love taking pictures of my little munchkins.

Now to my question if you don't mind. :)  I purchased a pair of knee high faux fur trimmed boots on eBay and the fur trim down the laces area is different colored on each boot.  I have already been refunded and apparently the seller does not want me to return them since he won't return my emails about return shipping to him.  Sooo.... my question is can I dye these boots myself to match?  Would I be better off finding a professional to do it?  Should I just take my $30 refund buy a different pair of boots and junk these?  I have attached a picture of them if that helps any.

Any help or info would be greatly appeciated!

Thanks!

Sara

Hey Sara, don't know the answer, but those are some pretty cool boots.  Welcome to the boards.

Not sure.  They didn't look that different in the pic.  I think I would use someone who does this for a living to fix it....I think.  Great looking boots, though!!!

Welcome to the boards!!!

Welcome Sara. I would take them to a shoe shop and ask how much it would be. A lot of times its cheaper then you think. I know I can get a heel/sole replaced for next to nothing on boots instead of spending a couple hundred dollars for a new pair.
