Hi,
I’m Maximo Santana; I’m an artist (painter). I have an artist membership
with EBSQ, but I never use EBSQ before
So, I have some elemental questions.

How I’m advised when a customer is interested to buy my paint?

How I’m advised if anybody place an order to buy my paint?

How should I pack a 30” x 40” paint to be shipped?

Should the canvas be stretched over a wood frame?

Should the stretched canvas have a decorative external frame?

Thanks

Welcome, Maximo!

There are a few ways people can contact you regarding wanting to purchase your work. The can contact you directly through the public contact email address that you included in your profile. They can also contact us and ask us to put them in contact with you. Also, you have the ability to add PayPal buttons to any item you upload to our site so folks can purchase your work directly from your portfolio. More information on how to do this is here:

How to add PayPal buttons to your EBSQ portfolio

We have a tutorial on site about how to package your art:
http://www.ebsqart.com/artMagazine/za_127.htm

and ship your art:
http://www.ebsqart.com/artMagazine/za_121.htm

Also, whether or not your stretch your canvases or include a frame is entirely a personal choice. I do know it's much less expensive to ship an unframed, unstretched 30 x 40 rolled canvas than it is to ship a stretched and framed canvas of the same size.

I hope that helps!

Do let us know if you have other questions along the way.

Cheers and welcome,
-Amie

Welcome!

I have a question for Amie: Maximo still shows up as a patron... but he says he is an artist member and you refer to his portfolio... I noticed because I wanted to go see his work!

Thanks for saying something. Apparently his account upgrade on the forums didn't save properly. All fixed. You can also find him on the front page of the EBSQ website (at least for a little while, lol)  http://www.ebsqart.com

Thanks Amie, Carolyn, Jack and Virginia. I really appreciate your replies, which help me a lot. I probably will come back to the forum with more elemental questions.

Thanks again
