seem to be closed to entries already? I know this is probably one of those wacky date things, but can someone take a look? Thanks!

Well, I have been fighting to try to enter something but this has got to be the most un-user friendly site I have ever run across.

Between getting DONE and a blank page, slow loading and not being able to add information to what I uploaded, the page jumps around like a jumping jack.

I give up. I waited till tonight because I know I cannot deal with the frustration I knew would happen! I have to go now before I start to SWEAR!

Well now, it looks like one of the 3 that I paid for...went into the show but I was never able to add any information on the image, not even what it is. No artist statement no medium, no nothing! Just a picture.

I can't do this anymore, I have to take my migrane to bed now. I wish to please remove the picture from the show. The other two that I attempted to enter all had artist statement and everything but wasn't able to do anything for the page jumping up and down.

Please, just remove the image and send me a refund.

I was able to enter the rhino show without a problem (although it did keep telling me my piece wasn't entered, but it was).

I just went to look from the front page it says that the Rhino show deadline has passed (yet I entered ok), motion photography is still open, and Bonsai & familiar are both closed.

I don't want to be critical, but seriously, why is this an issue every single month? I don't always enter so it doesn't affect me, but every month I see people trying to enter on the last day but the shows are closed.

Shows ARE open through midnight eastern time. I know if you look at what it says on the show page, it says it's closed, but go by what you can enter via your art case. Trust me, y'all are good to go!

Steph,

You can add your artist statement and title, etc, at your leisure.

Go to "My Art"
Your pieces are there.
Click "edit" and edit the information that needs to be added.
I know that things are different than before, but it's easier than you think, I promise!

Here's why it's an issue: the deadline is midnight. When we tell the database the show ends on the 31st, it ends it at 12:01 am on the 31st. So the entry date the database has is April 1. But the date you guys need to know is March 31.

The reason why the Motion Photography show *looks* more open is because when it hits the last day of the month, the entry instructions go away, and in that case, it also took entrants' ability to pay for their entry away. So I had to manually move the date today, and will have to move it back to the real end date in roughly an hour so that people can't keep entering past the entry date.

I know it's a pain. I have explained to Bill why this is an issue for folks. And right now, this is the best system we have without a person being required to manually turn shows on and off. And my very best advice is simply don't wait until the last minute to enter.

I just put a piece in the Bonsai show. Didin't read Vicky's post till just now so didn't think it was a problem. Yes, I would have entered earlier if I had finished it earlier. I'm done with it when my hand cramps up. Really, that was the determining factor.
