Hi everyone!

I was searching for a place to exhibit art online and i came across this site. I'm wondering what can it do for me. I'm a hobbist, i paint, draw, sculpture, a little bit of everything. Lately i'm very much into 3d modeling. Professionally i'm a graphic designer.

Fun to be here, and we'll see what happens. :-)

Cheers,
Peter

Hi Peter,

An Artist account at EBSQ gives you a full portfolio to showcase your creations, as well as participating in monthly online art exhibits, using the full version of the forums (a Patron account only lets you see part of the forums), networking possibilities and more.

I write for the blog and I feature EBSQ Artists every Tuesday with unique interviews and I browse their blogs (if they have one) for news to share with the community.

Everybody has different reasons they love EBSQ.

Welcome Peter!  I came to EBSQ a number of years ago and use it as my main portfolio site. I have ventured out once or twice to see what else was out there, but I'm pretty comfortable here.

I like the forums, although I don't participate as often as I should. There's quite a lot of helpful information, and friendly discussion.  The monthly exhibits provide a bit of exposure and they also also help inspire me when I need an idea for a new project.

One final note... as a "hobbyist" (using your own word!), you sometimes run into "Fine Art" elitists on some sites, but you won't here.  Make yourself at home!

I have been at home here at EBSQ for quite a few years. I use the portfolio as a place to show potential customers my other work. I also enjoy the shows....they are really fun and a great challenge each month!

You will really like it here. The forums are full of helpful, nice people that will make you comfortable.

Carolyn

Hello Peter, I am new on here too and just getting the feel of things. I do photography and art sketches. I'm gonna try the patron to see how it goes. I like what I see on here so far and good luck with your work!
